Chilean wine from the Colchagua Valley, near a Franciscan monastery. To transport the fragile bottles on the bumpy roads, the monks would wrap them in burlap...a tradition that continues to this day. One of our favorite table wines, evoking ruby red berries, with notes of vanilla and tobacco.
